I was first licensed in 1986, and quickly advanced through the ranks of hamdom to Amateur Extra.
That's me KB5AZN (photo left) ... trying to make sense of those "dits" and "dahs" and my newly found Novice HF privileges.

My interests are electronics, gardening, and photography.

A couple of years ago Patty (my XYL) and I got interested in chasing lighthouses. Then we caught the bug and started going to lighthouses and putting them on-the-air. It's a blast being on the receiving end of a pile-up. Activating lighthouses has become a passion going hand in hand with history, photography and travel. Did I mention dining on great seafood?

We have made many lighthouse friends and have had the pleasure of a few "eyeballs" along the way.

I work as a video producer in my "other" life.
