W5TLH will be activating several lighthouses along the Texas Gulf Coast from Dec. 22 through Dec. 29. Lighthouses include Texas Maritime Museum (USA- 1247), Corpus Christi (USA-1137), Lydia Ann Channel (USA-018,IOTA NA092, USI TX001S), Port Isabel (USA-649, USI TX038S), Brazos Santiago (USA-080, USA-082, IOTA NA092, USI TX007S) and Brazos Santiago Depot USA-1393. Primary SSB operating frequencies will be centered near 14.260 and 7.260. QSL direct with SASE. More information is available at www.w5azn.com .

A first time activation for W5TLH is the Port Isabel Lighthouse (USA-649) located on the most southern tip of Texas . Near this site in 1916, the U.S. Navy installed one of the most powerful wireless stations of it's time.
